Realistic detailing and incredible paintwork are what set PAPO's Dinosaurs ahead of the rest. Each figurine is hand painted and manufactured according to strict EN-71 specifications; with meticulous attention paid to details like scale, posture, weight, and even texturing for optimal realism.
With enough accurate anatomical detail to keep even the most ardent dinosaur fan happy, this Polacanthus figurine offers the same impeccable intricacies that many of PAPO's other dinosaurs are blessed with, such as the careful sculpting and painting around the beak, the lovely folds of skin down the legs, the commendable variation of body scales; and of course, the signature bony spikes that give this adorable critter much of its character. The broad band of pavement-like armor over the hips is also particularly well-rendered, perfected with a ready-for-battle pose that will spring any budding imagination to life!
PRETTY PRECIOUS POLACANTHUS FACTS!
• Honestly, it's getting scary how many first dino discoveries get mistaken for something else. When the first polacanthus fossil was found, paleontologists thought it belonged to a prehistoric turtle.
• If you're wondering why this dinosaur hasn't quite gained cult-like status like the Ankylosaurus yet (despite looking so much alike), here's why. It's because there is very little information known about this particular specimen due to the sparse number of polcanthus fossil disocoveries made, even to this date. You know what to do, little paleontologists.
