Realistic detailing and incredible paintwork are what set PAPO's Dinosaurs ahead of the rest. Each figurine is hand painted and manufactured according to strict EN-71 specifications; with meticulous attention paid to details like scale, posture, weight, and even texturing for optimal realism.
The sheer size of this undeniably pleasing gentle giant is enough to make jaws drop; with a remarkable sculpt traditional to that known of the largest land-living animal in Science. Even at its size, its peg-like teeth can be individually made out to the tiniest detail, attesting to PAPO's commitment to detailing and realism for all its figurines big or small.
BRILLIANT BRACHIOSAURUS FACTS!
• Extremely small heads (proportionally speaking) are a trademark feature of sauropods in general. The head of a Brachiosaurus is measured to be a mere 1/200th of its entire body.
• The idea that Brachiosauruses probably had trunks get thrown around. A lot. There is no evidence that any of this is true, but it's one suggestion that has been overwhelming entertained in the paleontological community in recent decades.
• For years, scientists assumed the nasal openings of Brachiosauruses were located on an enlarged bump in front of its eyes; but it was an interpretation that fell under great scrutiny. In 2001, paleontologist Lawrence Witmer examined muscle attachment scars in several dinosaur and present-day animal skulls, and based on this research, he concluded that Brachiosaurus’ nose holes weren’t pushed backwards after all, but instead held relatively close to the tip of its snout.
