HEADU      |     3 years & up

A simple yet effective didactic game to help pre-schoolers understand seasons of the year, as well as the concept of time and its repeated successions, such as day and night, the days of the weeks and months of the year etc.

Piece together the puzzle one season at a time. Stretch play value by pointing out specific characteristics to help further distinguish each season, such as the falling of leaves in autumn; snow in winter; the first flowers in spring and the sun in summer. In this way, children learn to make logical associations and understand the true meaning of seasons.

Comes with 56 tokens for a complementary game of Memo. After finding a pair, encourage players to associate the image to one of the four seasons, and then ask them why they think this is so. Encourage incidental learning through side activities such as research, craft projects, or even storytelling. In which season do the days become shorter and the nights longer? Why is autumn also called 'harvest season'? Which season gives us the best time to go to the beach?
