NOT SO LONG AGO...
It all started with T.O.T.S (The Original Toy Store) in 1987…. and it has't stopped.
The desire then was to bring in award-winning wooden toys that were not only educational but also aesthetically pleasing. That too hasn't changed.
In addition, all of our wooden toys are environmentally friendly as they are made from trees that are old and due to be chopped or burnt or from managed forests that are replenished. Unlike the many plastics which leach poisons when used and release toxins when burnt, wood is a natural material that is by far a safer and more environ - mentally correct material especially for toys.
We have also imposed strict safety standards on ourselves even though Singapore has no govern - ing controls for toys. All our toys meet ASTM (American) and EN 71(CE European) standards with many surpassing these standards. Baby toys in particular, have at least TUV (German Standards) with beeswax instead of approved varnish as nishing coat. Many of our brandsalso carry LIFETIME Warranty! (Better than most appliances!)
Our current basket of brands is 80% exclusive to us and represents the Who's Who in the European Toy Industry. BRIO, HABA, SELECTA, SES, KREFT are established top brands and PLAN, PIN, OUT-OF-THE-BOX, TROUSSELIER, DJECO, FOLKMANIS are the more current players. They all, however, have one thing in common. Without exception, each brand has toys that have between them won every possible toy award in the industry.

The brands we carry are the best in the wooden toy indus - try and have histories that span decades. With some brands like Brio, we have second or third generation owners who have kept their original sets and are now building upon their grandfather's or father's sets. Many toys are timeless classics that are found in Toy Museums all over the world. Yet others have won Industrial design awards and are found in Design Museums.
We hope to continue to bring to the Singapore audience quality toys that speak to the mind and soul. Since 2004, we have stepped up our buying and have since also branched into accessories, gifts and children's furniture.
